Akshay Kumar to depict Prithviraj Chauhan in a forthcoming film dependent on the Indian King’s life?
Bollywood seems to be bitten with biopics and historical drama bug as most of the film-makers are opting for historical war dramas which are based on Indian Kings. Joining the league of such movies is none other than Khiladi of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar. Reportedly, the Padman actor will be seen playing the role of Prithviraj Chauhan, the Indian ruler who was well-known during the era of 1178-1192 AD. The movie will star Akshay Kumar as the king and will be going on the floors by the end of this year.
As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, the movie will be directed by Mohalla Assi director, Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi and Akshay will start shooting for the same this year. The movie will release next year, i.e 2020. On January 1, Akshay’s tweet hinted at the Prithviraj Chauhan’s movie and speculations began. He tweeted, “Sharing with you all the first sunrise of the New Year My workout motivation: two action-packed films this year, so find something to make you wake up, get up and get out there!
