Last weekend, a number of musicians and artists around the globe gathered at Music Festival held at Maharashtra’s Pune. From Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith to American DJ and electronic music producer Marshmello, the annual music festival is hailed by enthusiasts and fans alike.
Due to Pulwama Terror Attack, the various right wing groups opposed the events and filed a criminal case against the organiser of the show. A large number of people arrived at the show of Marshemello. He was the only artist who condemned the attack and paid tribute to CRPF Martyr’s.
Before starting his performance at Music Festival in Pune, Maharashtra; he said “Two minutes silence for the Indian Soldiers who lost their lives in the barbarian attack, with tricolor in the background”.
As per the report of IANS, the right wing such as Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bajrang Dal, Hindu Kranti Dal, Hindu Jagran Manch, Hindu Sena and Shiv Sena had tried their best to interfere in the event but found unsuccessfull because of heavy police deployment.
